United Way Holds Warehouse Sale

Visitors to the Brant United Way giant warehouse sale will find a massive variety of products from 22 companies when they tour 85 Morrell St. today from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The former Harding Carpets building, which redeveloper King & Benton is nearly finished transforming into a state-of-the-art warehouse, will be a huge one-day manufacturer's clear out of products from ITML, Loger Toys, Levi's, SC Johnson, Marco Sales and Incentives Ltd., Gunther Mele, Mott Manufacturing, Nu-Gro, First Impression Signs and Designs, Mitten, Procter and Gamble, Saxon, Ardency Corp., Culligan, Tim Hortons. Brooks Signs and TD Canada Trust. All proceeds will go to the Brant United Way campaign. The Brantford and District Labor Council and Rendezvous Catering will supply concessions and the Kiwanis Club of Brantford will supply a beer garden and hold a Harley-Davidson motorcycle draw. King & Benton president Steve Charest said having his site host the sale is his way of helping the community a he reclaims one of he city's former Brownfield sites.
