Mississaugas of The New Credit First Nation is declaring the New Credit Industrial Park “open for business” as it welcomes its newest private sector tenant, Omega Organics Inc., scheduled to set up phase 1 of its operations in a 20,000 square foot building on August 8, 2004, producing 30-40,000 tonnes of finished product. King and Benton today announced plans to take a $250,000 equity position in the Integrated Grain Processors Cooperative (IGPC) and that IGPC will close a purchase agreement on January 31, 2005 for land on King & Benton’s Oak Park property where IGPC’s $86 million ethanol facility will be located.

King and Benton Developments today announced the appointment of Jeannie Martin as Manager, First Nations Business Development. Jeannie comes with a wealth of experience from Six Nations Council where she was Project Officer of Economic Development. Six Nations Council and King & Benton Developments agree to redevelop Grand River Mills building
Six Nations Council and King & Benton Developments have an agreement to lease the Grand River Mills Building (GRM) situated on the Oneida Industrial Park. They have pledged to work together to bring more jobs and economic benefits to the Territory. Construction has begun to complete structural work on the building and plans are under way to present details to the community in the New Year.
